Anacostia Coordinating Council (ACC), in partnership with the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), launched a new bowling program for middle and high school students. JBAB has a large, modern, 30 lane bowling alley located in Ward 8. Out youth will be grouped by age range and skill ability and each team will have a dedicated coach to help teach the sport and foster friendly competition.

Additionally, the program will provide a community style dinner after the play ends for the day. At these group dinners, the ACC will have presentations about trauma informed services, conflict resolution, opioids abuse awareness and mediation skill-building.
